Puppies:  We welcome puppies 4 months and older who have received their complete round of puppy shots to stay with us.

Gender:  All dogs 7 months and older must be spayed or neutered.

Vaccinations:  For the safety of all of our guests, all dogs must have up-to-date vaccinations. It is the owner's responsibility to ensure that all vaccination records are up to date and recorded in our records no later than 24 hours before your visit.

  • Owners must submit written proof by hard copy, mail, or fax (770-681-0978) of K9 Influenza H3N2 (required), K9 Influenza H3N8 (required) or Bivalent (covers both H3N2 & H3N8 strains in one shot), Rabies, DHPP and Bordetella vaccinations. We also recommend the leptospirosis shots.

  • Your dog needs to have had a fecal exam in the last year and be worm-free. They also need to be on a monthly heartworm, flea, and tick regimen.

Health:  All dogs must be in good health.  Owners will certify their dog(s) are in good health and have not been ill with a communicable condition in the last 30 days.  Upon admission, all dogs must be free from any condition that could potentially jeopardize other guests.  Dogs that have been ill with a communicable condition in the last 30 days will require veterinarian health certification to be admitted or readmitted. Dogs will be very active at Peachtree Pets, please let us know if your dog has any physical limitations, injuries, or other concerns.

Meals/Food Policy: Peachtree Pets has two options for feeding, you can bring your dog's own food, or we can provide high-quality house food for your dog at a cost of $1 per meal. We also sell high-quality dry and wet food in our retail store that you can purchase when you drop off. If you are providing your own food, it is your responsibility to bring enough to last their entire stay (If it runs out we will provide our house food). We recommend you pack a little extra just in case your plans change and your dog stays longer than expected.

Behavior:  All dogs must have a complete, up-to-date and approved application on file.   For the safety of our employees and other guests, aggressive dogs will not be accepted, and Peachtree Pets may refuse any dog for any reason.

Medical Emergencies:  If for any reason your pet should require veterinarian attention, Peachtree Pets will first attempt to contact you, notify you of the situation, and provide our recommendation for care.  If we can not reach you or your designated emergency contact we will transport your pet to your designated veterinarian.  If your designated veterinarian is not open or able to accommodate the dog, we will bring your dog to one of our vet partners in Peachtree City or a 24-hour emergency vet clinic. Owners are responsible for paying for the veterinarian services at the time of checkout.
